85 YEARS YOUNG! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!

How do you put into words what it means to have the most amazing dad a girl could ever ask for?

For my entire life, this man has taken care of me, taught me, guided me, believed in me, and supported me. And at 85 years young, he is still doing all of those things. How lucky am I?

My dad has always been my biggest supporter, and that has never wavered. But beyond being an incredible father, he is truly one of the kindest, sweetest, and most humble men I have ever known.

He has set the bar so incredibly high in life. The way he treats people, the things he values, his outlook on life, and the perspective he has gained from where he started to where he is today. He has taught me so much, not just through his words, but simply by the way he lives his life.

I get sentimental when it comes to my dad because I know just how fortunate I am. Having him in my life, still learning from him, still turning to him for guidance, and still knowing that no matter how old I get, I'll always have my biggest cheerleader in my corner. That is a gift I will never take for granted.

Dad, I hope you know how loved, admired, and appreciated you are. If I can carry even a little of your kindness, humility, strength, and wisdom through my own life, I'll consider myself incredibly lucky.
