Mountains. They are defined as large natural elevation of the earth's surface rising abruptly from the surrounding level; a large steep hill.
We have all climbed a mountain at some point in our lives. Sometimes they are the physical mountains and other times they are mental mountains. Sometimes they just appear out of no where, pushing you to a place you may not be ready to go yet challenging your life at the moment and sometimes you have a very good view of them coming towards you knowing they are going to be in front of you very soon. When they appear, you often find yourself in a panic trying to figure out why this mountain has appeared in front of you giving you a choice to climb up them or turn around and walk away.
Since we climb mountains for many different reasons, everyone's path up them is different. Maybe you climb for the actual physical health of climbing the mountain. Heck I climb stairs which I consider vertical mountains. Climbing a mountain can prove to be a challenge, causing much pain and suffering BUT a huge reward at the end. The feeling of accomplishment, pushing your body to its limit is like no other. But what if the mountain is placed in front of you to make you think? You don't physically have to climb the mountain but your mind is challenged to climb it. Faced with with overcoming something that is much bigger than you but something that makes you realize if you can get over the mountain, you won't look back. You won't ever look back on things that have caused you so much pain. Things that you thought brought you joy and happiness but when you actually admit to yourself, they brought you pain and sadness and you can't wait to get over the mountain and move forward.
Life is full of challenges or mountains. Don't be afraid of them and just know times may be hard but they will help you grow. You won't realize that until you are staring at the huge mountain before you, you climb up to the top and then look back to see how far you have come. It will be an amazing view, I promise. They are there for a reason. Sometimes getting to the top will help you understand those reasons!!!
Now go climb those mountain!!!!
